Spotlight: Willamette Valley Sustainable Foods Alliance
SnoTemp is a proud member of the Willamette Valley Sustainable Foods Alliance, a regional trade association of companies that promote natural food businesses through relationships, education and sustainable business practices. The WVSFA is working to establish recognition of the Willamette Valley as a premiere source of natural foods.
The Alliance’s biggest fund raiser of the year is Fun with Fermentation. This event is held October 1st at the Lane Community College Downtown Campus and promotes several SnoTemp customers and other members of the food community. If you’re interested in tasting and learning about fermented food and drinks, this is just the place for you.
Fermentation is a great way to preserve fruits and vegetables from the abundant Willamette Valley harvest when they can’t be frozen or eaten right away. Join SnoTemp and WVSFA at Fun with Fermentation to learn more and support the local food economy.
