We BUILD Long-Term Relationships

For over 60 years SnoTemp has provided cold storage that is an integral link in the food supply chain. Here’s how.

Delivering Excellence

We support the cold chain with frozen, cooler, and dry storage with service grounded in our values. In 2016, just shy of our 60th anniversary, we articulated our purpose, promise, and values as The SnoTemp Way. When we add new employees to the family, we describe their responsibilities in terms of how we do things here at SnoTemp. The best way to describe what we do is to actually describe how we do it. We do it The SnoTemp Way.

Food Safety

In 2015 SnoTemp received it’s first BRCGS food safety certification for Storage and Distribution under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Recognized worldwide, BRCGS is a leading safety and quality certification program that guarantees food safety protection for the end consumer. This certification is highly regarded by food manufacturers and retailers and aligns with SnoTemp’s commitment to the highest standards of food safety.

Inventory control is a huge part of food safety, and our dedicated Inventory Control team is a huge benefit to our customers. Our IC team, in conjunction with our operations team, can manage any flavor of quality assurance program.  We have extensive experience with quality hold and release programs to ensure our customers’ products are safely released into the cold chain. Our dedicated IC team allows us to react quickly to customer inventory requests.

Technology

Our IT team is committed to leveraging new technological advances to the benefit of our customers. At both of our locations, our fully integrated warehouse management system allows for full RF scanning capabilities, labeling customization, and automated reporting. This system allows us to provide our customers with real-time information so they can manage their business better.

Customers can view their orders, receipts, inventory, transaction histories and invoices as well as schedule automated reports via our online web portal, eVista. Our warehouse management system is also EDI integrated which allows customers to send and receive order and receipt information electronically.

Partnership

SnoTemp was recognized as Oregon Dairy Industry’s Supplier of the Year in 2019. This award is given to the most outstanding company within ODI as voted on by their peers for going above and beyond to help the customers that they serve.

Many of our customers have been entrusting their product to us for over 4o years, which is a testament to our dedication to building long-term partnerships. We see our operation as an extension of your business, and our family ownership allows us to respond quickly to customer requests, changes in the supply chain, and customization.

Co-Located Processing

Our commitment to building long-term relationships includes building onsite processing for our customers. With over 25 acres of shovel ready land between three locations, SnoTemp is prepared to help existing and new customers optimize their operations via co-located processing. In 2016 we opened a 95,000 square foot expansion in Albany. This building includes 8,500 sf of processing space. Designed to meet the highest standards of food safety, this space is perfect for a variety of value added processes.

“One of the most amazing relationships we have is with SnoTemp Cold Storage. They are a professional, organized, heart-based organization that values community and integrity. SnoTemp’s strengths are in supporting our business through storage and logistics solutions. They are reliable, transparent and an absolute pleasure to work with! We consider them as an extension of our own family, and an asset to our business.”
